BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Gulf South Conference men's soccer coaches voted four Christian Brothers University Bucs to the All-Gulf South Conference First Team.
Senior defender
Robert Mingo (Covington, La./St. Paul's HS), senior midfielder
Clark Bradford (Blackburn, England/Ribblesdale HS), senior midfielder
Gordon Blum (Houma, La./Vanderbilt Catholic HS), and senior forward
Zach Tubinis (Memphis, Tenn./Houston HS) earned All-GSC honors.
Tubinis led the Bucs with eight goals and 18 points in 17 games this season, while Bradfrod logged a team-high six assists to go with five goals. Mingo was a stalwart on the Bucs' defense and scored two goals as he started all 18 games, and Blum picked up two assists as he was a steady force in the midfield.
The Bucs (8-8-2, 3-1-1 GSC) will play in the Gulf South Conference tournament this weekend, facing Alabama-Huntsville at 4:30 p.m. tomorrow in the first semifinal.
