RUSSELLVILLE, Ark.—The Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs were swept in a three-match GSC West road trip as they started their season this weekend.
Yesterday, the Lady Bucs (0-3, 0-3 GSC West) dropped a 9-0 decision at Ouachita Baptist and an 8-1 decision at Henderson State before losing 9-0 this afternoon at Arkansas Tech.
The Lady Bucs' lone point came with a 9-8 win at No. 1 doubles against HSU, where
Morgan Mills (Memphis, Tenn./St. Agnes Academy) and
Ashley Schnedorf (Olive Branch, Miss./Olive Branch HS) won 9-8 over HSU's Melissa West and Meredith Massey.
The Lady Bucs return to the courts Tuesday at 2 p.m. as they host Stillman for the first of six straight non-conference matches.
